This blog will cover the topics of law, criminal justice, social change, community service and politics that affect the Puerto Rican communities both in Puerto Rico and the United States. In speaking of how social work supports Latin Americans, I will also cover community events that promote Latino culture, as well as other aspects of Puerto Rican and Latino identity. It will also be a documentation of my professional essays, professional projects and community endeavors in New York City. Justicia Latina will be an excercise in writing, communication with other Latinos and a means to offer an example of my work.
